On Tuesday 5/3/24 following an invitation from the teachers Elena Kasimati and Vasiliki Katsouka, SHE-Society for Help & Empowerment visited the 1st Gymnasium of Toumba and on the occasion of International Women's Day through an interactive role playing game with the students of 3rd grade we tried to understand the invisible barriers and stereotypes that hinder women and girls in their professional development and well-being

We also tried through the discussion that followed, to understand the importance of sharing responsibilities, respecting our partner and that all people have equal rights and equal opportunities regardless of gender. It was a different experience in a lively and dynamic environment with children fighting their own battles to find their place in the world, but having the essential support of their teachers who in every way try to empower them and open paths for them to future.
